One of our colleague was a project lead but on L1/L1A visa and they applied him showing as multinational manager and he got gc in 3 months. I just kept watching as I work as a consultant for a consulting firm waiting in line for GC.So I think its all luck.

L1A - qualifies for EB1 but Indian companies very rarely do it.

We are seeing several of these kind of posts these days. Many people come up with questions for using AC21.
Joining an employer is not a overnight decision.
You should wait with patience before taking these kind of decisions.
It might ruin your whole GC process.
Every single creature in this world cries and fights for its freedom.
But, dont think of using AC21 unless you dont have an option to use it or in a situation of getting fired.
Whole GC process is a test for patience. And we all can wih this GC one day.

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.
On February 9, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. When you use Fireworks to make your animation, try converting to a symbol and using a tween, as in Flash...
I don't know if these things are tweenable... Alright, look I've attached one of the animated gifs to this post, so you can see what I mean. I've got this one down to 20K, but I need to make it lower. I haven't got much knowledge of Fireworks (at least not on the animating side), - I've found the Convert To Symbol thing, but it doesn't seem to reduce the file size. Each frame was originally a .psd, which was then Saved For Web as a gif, opened into Fireworks, then pasted into the animation.
Any ideas, bright spark? :)

did you get a letter from USCIS to your new address that they have received your address change request?
i changed my address back in last week of September and got the letter in mid october. i got two separte letter one addressed to me and one addressed to my wife. this letter will ensure that they have your new correct address on the file. you should get one letter for you and for each dependent. also, you should change addresses for each individuals (for you and dependent).
also keep in touch with your lawyer, they shall recieve one notice for FP alongwith you.
I called USCIS and created a new service request. Hope they will do it right this time.
My worry is if this is NOT FP notice, and something else, will it effect my application in anyway since I could not respond in a timely manner due to address change.

I dont have any changes to status when I check my 485 case status online but today in the mail i received I797c notice welcoming me as a premenant residence. I am a bit hesitant to celebrate, but am I seeing green?:o

Ask your H1B holding company what should be your reply in case Consultate asks you about client details. This question will come to you 100%. So prepare for it. If you and your H1B holding company is satisfied then its fine. One solutions could be to mention in DS 156 that you are workking at your H1B holding company place. But its just a thought. Discuss it with your company.

I have consulted USCIS rep by taking InfoPass. She was friendly and talked with USCIS Texas rep (thats where mine went), they told her to re-apply. She sent an email and received a response saying to re-apply...................................

The only good part is that they are not jerking the dates back and forth. Hopefully this is a sign that dates are not going to retrogress any further.
If they apply quarterly spill over, we should see some movement in December. Lets wait and see......

Today morning my employer got mail from VSC saying that their received date is 03/12/2010
Status check online by 10:30 AM(03/15/2010)
Status:Initial Review
Date received shown:03/12/2010

Status went back from Inital review to Acceptance and date also changed from 03/12/2010 to 03/15/2010.

They respond very quickly on these channels. Urge your employer to contact them, if there are any doubts about the status.

Wait for 30 days from the EAD mailing date and open a SR with USCIS and take infopass appointment. Discuss the issue with CSR & IO. They will tell you exactly what you need to do.
Thanks, I actually called NSC and talked to the customer service (CSR) and she told me that it is USCIS policy to not give any duplicate/copy of this approval/card for something which has been sent but not returned ? How can i speak to the IO officer...can i ask her to transfer me to an IO officer? whom should i ask to open the service request (SR) with?
