The upside-down "V" shaped branches in the upper left corner are distracting, but could probably be cloned out with a bit of work in PS. The bright leaves in the upper right corner are also distracting, but a bit of burning in could probably make them stand out less. The water is blown out down at the bottom, but that's easy to excuse if you're using a P&S where you don't have much control over the exposure - or even a way to reliably gauge it until the image is on your computer monitor. Overall, the image has potential, and it shouldn't be too hard to fix most of the little issues I see with a bit of time in Photoshop. :)

Did you write to the Ombudsman in form 7001 about 140 delay ( other thread ). I sent it yesterday. When did you file 140 at NSC ?

this is a standard reply when we enquire about a case.
I had enquired about 140 and got the same message. Then took an infopass and there the IO told there is nothing at 140 level and what I got is a standard reply .

What if her H1 is not approved until Aug? Is there a point in filing for H4 extension up to Sep 30th in Aug? What are the consequences of that not getting approved before sep 30th? In that case waiting until Oct 1st seems to be the better option.
I will talk to a lawyer and let you know what kind of response I will get.

I changed employer in 2010 so my wife got new H4 valid until 03/2013 ( I-94 valid until 03/2013). She traveled to India last year and while returning she did not show her new H4 approval to immigration office so got I-94 until 08/2011 (old H4 was stamped until 08/2011).
My question is does she need to file I-539 for I-94 extension? If yes, process is similar like any other(B1, B2) extension? I appreciate any kind of help.

You might want to try CBP deferred inspection. For further details, go through the link below:
U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Contacts (http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/deferred_inspection/)
Talk to any CBP site at nearby International Airport, and tell them that "while entering I've submitted all the documents, but the I-94 was given based on the old petition".
If one site denies, then try another site. Otherwise, you need to submit the application to USCIS to extend the I-94.

1. Personal check or Money order for 380$. I prefer sending personal check so that i can know if my check was cashed.
2. I did paper filing and not e-Filing. Some say efile is better some say paper filing is better , i felt paper filing is easy and better , as we can track our documents sent.
3. Docs req are
1. Filled EAD Application form
2. your 485 receipt notice copy
3. Current Addresss proof. electricity bill, water bill etc.
3.Copy of the biographic page of passport for each applicant
4. i-94 Copy
5. 2 Photographs
6. SSN copy ( i put it as my attorney suggested but its not mandatory)

I applied my 485 as a single on July 17th.
I got married and then applied my spouse's on Aug 16th.
Since I am married now, will that cause my application to get rejected as I applied as Single.
I am not sure how would this be handled at USCIS end ?
Any idea ?
I believe your application won't be rejected as you can always add on your spouse to your 485 application after you get married, before your 485 application gets approved or rejected and when your priority date is current

Hi,
I am Planning to go TORONTO for my 2 H1B visa stamping.In my first experience my application was under administrative processing for 6 months, but since I have AP and EAD I came back,then when they called my Passport was about to expire in 5 Months so with my new passport it went into administrative processing for 2 more weeks then I was asked to come down to toronto and I got my H1-B
Now here are my concerns specially how to prove
1) Employer employee scenario( what docs will prove VO, I work as a IT consultant at third party have my H1B approved till 2013, visa is expired,Vendor is ready to give letter , client does not have this policy )
2) My project end date is feb 2011, what if he asks me what will i do after that, how to convince?
3) will my previous administrative processing triigers for admin processing again ? I heard that once you went to admin processing after that any time you go for stamping you will go through admin processing?
4) Will use of Advanc parole (in case of admin processing) TO come to US in anyway cause issues when admin processing is done and visa is to be issued?
5) Is it safe to go to HomecountrY(Hyderabad,India) than toronto since I dont have US Degree but I did study MS for 3 semesters yet to complete
6)If I Marry and wants to use AP to enter but work on H1 status, can I still have my wife go for H4 Interview with my expired VISA but unexpired I-797 and she comes on H4 and I come back using AP and work on H1 status?

This looks like the hallmark of a gang initiation ritual. The teens were probably asked to carry out an act of this nature before the gang would consider them to be tough enough. So they drive around, pick a random person, and beat him up, and the hapless victim ends up dead. Sad and bizarre.

I think they carry only their own documents + hdfc receipt etc stuff in original.
All other documents (that are not issued to them) are a copy e.g. your I797 notice, copy of your passport, visa etc.
Your Birth certificate is one such document hence copy should be fine. And also your passport also has a name of each parent.
