ok, i've waitd long enough.
is MWSF going to introduce any new products lik say a new iPod?
I've been holding off on the purchase until after the MWSF, so is it ok to order it now without having it be outdated in two days?
The MWSF hand has been played.

No reason in particular, I'm just doing my firsts experiments in socket programming and I thought it could be useful if, for example, I want to connect two client to my server, one in the LAN and one outside. In the client application, I could set the server's ip programmatically and let the client in the LAN connect to the server through the public ip, but now I should think of two versions of the same client (or let the server's ip be set at runtime).

I see so many things online about the jailbreak of ipad 2. I am a bit skeptical. It is a bit too early for the Jailbreak of 2 to be out.
Is the ipad 2 using the same I.O as the 1st one?

Drag the .app to the trash. Don't use cleanmymac, appzapper, appcleaner or any crap like that.
Ugh, I just bought CleanMyMac. Could you elaborate more why these products are bad to use? Thanks
Nevermind: I see someone just addressed my question as I was posting.

Are you using the Bluetooth keyboard? That won't work with Windows XP setup. You'll need to have a wired one hooked up until after the Bootcamp drivers are installed. If you only need one program, though, you might be better off with Parallels or VMWare Fusion so that you can continue doing tasks on the Mac OS at the same time.

I'm trying to fix 5 year old Macbook for some one .The problem is hard-drive space used up but the person has very little pictures ,music and work on the computer.
Some how only 7GB free of the 80GB hard-drive.
There is a similar thread http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=672477
Thread never got resolved.
well normally when I'm trying fix the same problem on PC running windows it is do to.
1.Bad sector
2.swap file /page file
3.hidden OS system support files
4.malware
5.windows files to keep OS running and windows needs lots of files and I mean lots, lots and lots of files!!!
But do not have that much experience here. What could the problem be.

I need an ATI PCI Video card that'll work with my PowerMac G3 B&W. I'm currently using an old PCI card from my old PowerMac 9600 so if I could replace it in time for christmas (I'm giving the computer away as a gift to my Grandma) then that would be fantastic.
I see some going on eBay so if I can't find one here I'll purchase one on there. I can pay via PayPal, or if you really want maybe we can trade somehting. Thanks! :)
I have a hadware modded (replaced with 128K ROM) radeon 7000 64MB card. I should have it on one of my old G3s. For 50$ + 5$(priority mail shipping?)

byteSizeOfElement is wrong. Your code will only work (if all other bugs are fixed) with 64 bit code, not with 32 bit code.
Care to explain why?
Having little faith in the user (mainly me) to actually release the pointer, I already decided to get the value by passing a reference.

Although I personally agree with you guys and what you say about babelfishes translation being brutal. I know for a fact if I can make this work my bosses will be happy.
Yeah it's incorrect and in-accurate but if the GM goes "hey great job" thats the best I can hope for as appose to "we need to build 4 separate sites, one for each language"

I'm looking for buying a new mac mini that "might" come out soon, here's some little things would like to know about.
Keyboard, I ordered one bluetooth keyboard (will use to go with my ipod or phone) said support MAC 3.0, i don't know what that is.. (not a mac guy, yet), would it be work with the mini? If don't, should I get a normal or full size keyboard from apple?
Second, I had a bluetooth mouse, but I think I would like to sit or lay on my bed to work with it, anyone tried the Magic Trackpad? It likes would be better to use when I'm not on my table.
Thanks for reading and y'all answers :)

Have you checked the directory permissions? By default, your Documents directory is set to only be readable by you (for security on your local machine).
Try chmodding that sucker...

 My son loves Pokemon and, since his birthday is at the end of April, I am thinking of getting him the new Pokemon DS games. I don't know jack about Pokemon. Is there a difference between Diamond and Pearl, or is the existance of multiple versions just a means of generating revenue?

Am I the only one who notices that photos taken on the iPhone 4 front camera look wonky in this app? For one, the rotation is opposite what the original photo was.
On the MobileMe gallery web page, IP4 front camera photos are rotated correctly, however the aspect ratio is way off making everything look fat.
